Join our walks?

'A bridge too far' Menheniot Walk 11.4.2011The St John walking group was started in 2001 and has been walking ever since, usually between ten and twenty people.

Circular walks are about three to five miles long and can be anywhere fromDartmoor to Bodmin Moor, or coastal in Cornwall or Devon.

The walks are every second Tuesday in the month, meeting outside the village hall at 9.30 am. Members take it in turns to plan and lead a walk. This means that one gets to explore lots of interesting new places.

This is not a formal club, there is no membership or fees, it is just a group of people, mainly from the village itself, mostly (well all actually) retired and happy to get out and stretch their legs in good company. We always end our walks at pubs (funny that) and enjoy a hearty lunch!

We would welcome anyone who wants to join us, why not try just one walk?

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome.
